What are you most passionate about?
Treading gently and gratefully on the earth.
Why did you decide to work in the health industry?
It is very empowering to take responsibility for your own health, when you are well to maintain your vitality, but also when you are not well to heal. I believe a lot of people hand that responsibility over and I enjoy arming people with techniques to take back the driving wheel of their own health and wellness.
What has been the biggest challenge you’ve overcome in your life?
Almost all my greatest challenges have been a result of not saying “No”. Sometimes the lessons have lasted years! So learning to say No has been a huge challenge and whilst I’m not a master yet, I’ve certainly overcome the challenge.
If you could give one word of advice what would it be?
Be kind, to yourself and others, for everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about.
What is the most inspiring quote you have heard?
Mary Oliver “What is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”
Do you have an ethos you live by?
Kindess, respect and awe.
If you could invite any three people over for dinner (dead or alive), who would it be and why?
Tara Brach, Jack Kornfield and Bede Griffiths. All modern day saints that have trodden the path and devoted their lives to teach others how to evolve spiritually, which is, I believe, why we are here.
