Magnesium is one of my fav nutrients, it is like the handyman that fixes most of the dramas in our house. Not only does it sooth cramping muscles and help with anxious feelings, it also helps perimenopausal symptoms, thyroid problems, and PMS. It can be used to relieve migraines (read natural treatment for headaches), improve energy, balance out your calcium levels, regulate body temperature and vasodilation of blood vessels.
This isn’t even the whole list either, it is involved in over 300 biochemical reactions in your system, it truly is a super nutrient.
