Each individual body strives for balance and wholeness. Your body works extremely hard to heal itself and stay in homeostasis, however, we as intellectual beings, must learn to listen to and nourish the mind, body and soul. They all work closely together to harmonise our body and essentially, our life. That is the beauty of Yoga and Ayurveda.
Yoga = Union
Ayurveda = Science of Life
Yoga and Ayurveda always seek to bring balance into the whole self – mind, body, breath and soul. These systems work with the subtle energies of the body as well as the energies of the environment and universe.
In this 90 minute workshop with Holly Cootes, you will be guided through specific practices of both Ayurveda and Yoga to help you gain insight into the wisdom of wellness. You will discover your very own unique mind-body type also known as your dosha. When you learn your dosha type it feels like uncovering the best-kept secret and figuring out your own unique blue print. Knowing this dissolves all confusion you may have around how to eat, exercise, manage stress, create more energy and improve digestion. You will also learn about the doshas beyond your physical body and how you can use this knowledge to create a daily routine.
