Hey there, I'm Melinda, Founder of the Sanctuary.
I've been in the wellness game for over 20 years. I've studied Exercise Science, Naturopathy, Kundalini Yoga, Reiki, Pilates and now dabble in writing books and speaking at events... But my credentials aren't important.
My story is. As is yours.
Through my biggest pain I have found a better way of life.
When I lost my son, my heart broke. And I realised giving to others is far better than taking for myself.
When I went through depression, I realised how important balance was. You can't keep giving from an empty tank. There’s gotta be some nourishment in there.
When we lost my step son to depression I realised that giving up was not an option. That the world doesn't just go on without you.
Hearts break, lives crash and change for ever. The special gift you were given can never be shared and the world will have one small piece missing from this big puzzle we are all creating together.
I am just like you... fumbling my way through life and sharing as much of it as possible with my tribe.
What’s this got to do with health??
Because health is more than a good diet or thumping exercise routine... it’s balance. It's connection. It’s a good laugh. It's you finally loving you for who you are.
